Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a wheel suspending apparatus for vehicle, in which damper means of coil spring and damper means of hydraulic or pneumatic spring are provided between wheels and vehicle body, and in usual operation, the above two damper means are used commonly so as to reduce the spring constant of the entire system and to afford a comfortable ride, whereas in operation at a high speed or on a rugged road or at the time of steep turning, the hydraulic or pneumatic spring is detached to increase the spring constant, whereby reliability of vehicle operation and steering performance can be inproved.
