Abstract

Le commutateur fonctionnant sous vide comprend une enveloppe 1 étanche au vide, des contacts 16, 17 montés sur des tiges 2, 3 ainsi qu'un dispositif d'absorption. Celui-ci comprend un élément porteur 6 muni d'un matériau absorbant 7 qui, une fois évaporé sous l'effet d'un chauffage par induction, est capable d'absorber les gaz éventuellement présents. Un écran métallique 5 est installé entre l'élément 6 porteur de matériau absorbant 7 et les parois isolées 1 de ce commutateur. Cet écran 5 qui constitue une surface sur laquelle ce matériau absorbant se dépose, est muni de fentes 9 qui empêchent la formation de courants de Foucault dans l'écran 5. Le matériau absorbant s'évapore en un endroit unique situé, par rapport à celui où se trouvent les fentes 9 de l'écran 5, de façon telle que la tige de contact 3 empêche ce matériau d'absorption de se dégager au-delà de l'écran 5. Application en particulier aux commutateurs fonctionnant en milieu corrosif.
