Abstract

The improved meal distribution trolley comprises a compartment for food exposed to both hot and cold air. The trolley has an isothermal compartment with two holes in for the air to enter and leave by, and positioned near a fan. The fan has a duct containing a turbine (17), a heating generator (19) and the evaporator of a refrigerator unit. The ends of the duct (18b) coincide with the openings in the trolley, which are at the top and normally blocked by a removable lid. The fan can slide vertically on a support plate fixed to the wall and is spring loaded for lifting it.
