Abstract

The tractor-mounted and driven soil cutter is for working ploughed and unploughed farm soils. It consists of a frame with a coupling frame, a connecting shaft and a long housing with a gearbox to transmit the rotary motion of the connecting shaft to two or more cutter shafts with cutter tools. The cutter shafts (31) are held continuously parallel to each other and normal to the soil surface in a place normal to the direction of advance (D). The shafts can move within parallel longitudinal planes, transverse to the main plane, at a known angle using devices which are arranged in the gear casing and can be operated from the coupleable take off shaft of the tractor (2).
