THE MATTED LAYERS CONTAIN THE POLYMER PARTICLES IN A CONCENTRATION OF 5 TO 50 BY WEIGHT, PREFERABLY 7.5 TO 20 BY WEIGHT, BASED ON THE DRY WEIGHT OF THE BINDER. THE PROCESS PROVIDES MATAGE DISPERSIONS HAVING THE DESIRED GRANULOMETRY AND IN A NARROW GRANULOMETRIC DISTRIBUTION, WITHOUT THE USE OF HIGH SPEED DISPERSAL DEVICES. AN EFFECTIVE ROUGHNESS IS THUS OBTAINED FOR A PARTICULAR DIMENSION OF 0.1 TO 5 MM EVEN FOR A LOW CONCENTRATION OF MATTING AGENT.
