Abstract
L'invention concerne un guide d'images à fibres optiques et son procédé de fabrication. Des fibres optiques portant un revêtement métallique ou en matière plastique sont placées dans un tube de verre ou de quartz et sont mises en ordre par un courant d'eau et éventuellement une rotation du tube et des vibrations ultra-sonores. L'ensemble ainsi formé est étiré pour en réduire le diamètre, puis revêtu d'une couche de protection. L'invention s'applique notamment à la réalisation de guides d'images d'une longueur de plusieurs kilomètres.
