Abstract

Procédé et dispositif pour la production d'un câble optique, avec une âme formée par un ou plusieurs torons optiques, constitués chacun par un tube souple stable et au moins une fibre optique libre dans ce dernier. Les tubes souples 3 formant les torons optiques sont entaillés longitudinalement. Les fibres optiques 4 sont introduites par les entailles dans les tubes souples, qui se referment ou sont refermés ensuite, puis sont cablés pour former l'âme. L'invention est applicable en particulier à la production de câbles optiques de télécommunications.
