Abstract

a. L'invention concerne une masse moulable de polyéthylène destinée à enrober des conducteurs métalliques électriques pour les isoler. b. Cette masse contient 94 à 50 % de polyéthylène haute pression, 5 à 45 % de polyéthylène basse pression, 0,5 à 10 % d'un copolymérisat d'olefines contenant des groupes hydroxyles et/ou des groupes ester ainsi qu'éventuellement du polypropylène et les additifs usuels. c. Les isolants obtenus avec cette masse sur des fils métalliques minces ont une surface lisse et bien régulière.
