Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour le formage d'un alliage métallique. Dans ce procédé, une charge 5 d'un alliage métallique semisolide, contenant des particules solides dendritiques dégénérées en une concentration 30 à 90 % en volume, est formée sous pression dans une cavité de matrice fermée 1, 2, 3, 4. L'opération s'effectue à basse pression et avec une durée de formage et de solidification très courte. On peut obtenir ainsi des pièces en alliage métallique de haute qualité, de forme complexe et avec des tolérances serrées. L'invention s'applique à la formation de pièces de forme complue
