Abstract

Distributeur à organes tournants, fermé en position centrale, pour direction assistée. Il comporte deux clapets 22a montés en sens inverses dans un organe tournant extérieur 12 relié au mécanisme de braquage des roues; un organe intérieur 14 relié au mécanisme de direction, peut tourner dans cet organe extérieur. Ces deux organes sont reliés par une barre de torsion 16. Un ou deux ressorts 36 en arc de cercle, montés sur l'élément extérieur, maintient ces clapets fermés. Quand le volant est manoeuvré, l'organe intérieur, repousse un poussoir qui agit sur le ressort de fermeture correspondant au sens de braquage de façon à diminuer sa force. Application notamment aux directions assistées pour automobiles de tourisme.
