Abstract

The automatic bale loader has a loading surface formed between two endless chains rotating about a pair of driven toothed wheels. The chains support the base of a plate which moves along the loader between a pair of rails. In front of the loader is a hinged plate (11) pivoting about a horizontal axis. A pusher plate (15) behind it is driven by an assembly of linked bars and a jack to move bales on or off the loader in co-operation with the plate behind the bales. A lateral pusher (20) also acts to manoeuvre the bales into the required position.
