Abstract

The blae-loading trailer consists of a vertical loading unit (18) at the front, and a movable transverse conveyor plate (21) running the entire width of the trailer. The conveyor plate (21) may reciprocate in a vertical direction along guides (20), and is positioned opposite a collector. The collector has a pivoting chain for picking up the bales from the ground and raising them to the conveyor plate (21). The conveyor plate (21) has two pivoting chains (26) on top of one another between two plates resting on the conveyor plate (21). The plate (21) support consists of two cross-pieces (24) and two side plates (25). A horizontal bale moving unit consists of a vertical front wall (34) near the loading unit. Horizontal side guide-pieces (32) have a C-shaped cross-section and are joined to uprights (19). A fixture unit for holding the bales is positioned near the front wall, and consists of a crossbar on the uprights (19) from which girders (43) project for a horizontal pivot shaft (42).
