Abstract

Cylindre comprenant un support fixe sur lequel tourne une enveloppe reposant sur des éléments hydrostatiques d'appui dont chacun comporte plusieurs poches de portée que des canaux étranglés raccordent à une chambre de poussée. Les éléments d'appui 8 ont la forme de plaques disposées dans l'espace séparant la surface interne 15 de l'enveloppe 5 et la surface extérieure 16 du support 1. Des chevilles 22 fixées dans le support et pénétrant avec jeu dans des cavités 23 de l'élément d'appui 8 peuvent retenir ce dernier sur ce support. Application par exemple aux cylindres de laminoir dont le support 1 doit être très rigide et dont l'élément d'appui n'a pas à effectuer une grande course.
