Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de pellicules polyoléfiniques thermosoudables et ne formant pas de fibrilles. Selon l'invention, on prépare une pellicule de base mono-orientée par extrusion de polymères ou copolymères cristallins d'alpha-oléfines, en refroidissant la pellicule à des températures de 10 à 70 degrés C et avec un étirement longitudinal subséquent à 110-150 degrés C avec des rapports compris entre 1 :4 et 1 : 7; on extrude, sur l'une ou les deux faces de la pellicule de base, le même polymère ou mélange afin que l'épaisseur de la couche de revêtement extrudé soit comprise entre 1/6 et 1/10; on étire transversalement la pellicule enduite à 120-160 degrés C en utilisant des rapports de 1:6 à 1:10; le dessin joint montre une extrudeuse 1, une unité de refroidissement 2, une unité de préchauffage 3, une unité d'étirement longitudinal 4, des groupes d'extrusion 5 et une unité d'étirement transversal 6. L'invention s'applique notamment à la préparation d'emballages.
