Abstract

Dans la vanne sphérique de la présente invention, le corps est composé de deux coquilles hémisphériques 1, 2 enfermant un obturateur 9 et soudées le long de leur grand cercle, deux paires de demi-bagues 7, 7' et 8, 8' étant soudées dans des positions symétriques par rapport à l'axe de la sphère de manière à constituer des éléments de guidage et d'absorption de poussée vis-à-vis des extrémités 20 et 21 de l'obturateur. Une bande à profil en U est en outre placée immédiatement en dessous du cordon de soudure pour empêcher la soudure de pénétrer à l'intérieur de la vanne et pour contenir un filtre photographique destiné à un contrôle aux rayons X de la soudure.
