Abstract
The mounting is for a vehicle receiving or transmitting antennae esp. military vehicles. The degree of elasticity of the mounting is varied by altering the gas pressure within it. The support is in the form of a tapered helical steel spring (5) embedded in insulating elastic material (1) forming a hollow cone. The antennae (8) attachment point (7) includes a sprung ball valve (5a) allowing the gas pressure in the cone to be altered. The mounting is attached to the vehicle by a studded (9, 16) metal disc, bolted (11) through its shell via an insulating washer (10).
