Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve starting performance of a motor and to prevent vibration of the motor, by constructing a pressure applying spring with a shape-memory member such that pushing force against a rolling bearing is strong for temperature higher than a predetermined level while weak for temperature lower than the predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:A rolling bearing 17 comprises inner and outer rings 17a, 17b and a rolling body 17c. Outer circumferential face of the outer ring 17b slides on the inner circumferential face of a holding section 11a formed at the end face section of a bracket 11. A coil shaped pressure applying spring 20 is contained in the holding section 11a. The pressure applying spring 20 is made of shape-memory alloy which deforms to provide strong pushing force against the rolling bearing 17 for temperature higher than a predetermined level and provides weak pushing force for temperature lower than the predetermined level.
