Abstract

Selon l'invention on mélange intimement du graphite en poudre avec les monomères de la résine et on polymérise partiellement puis on broie le mélange avant de former une composition à mouler par addition d'un agent porogène que l'on peut éliminer par decomposition ou lixiviation pour former des pores de taille uniforme; on incorpore à l'électrode un catalyseur de la réaction d'électrode, avec l'agent porogène ou sous forme d'une couche mince pendant le moulage, et on incorpore également lors du moulage un élément de renforcement 5 conducteur de l'électricité qui se comporte comme un rhéophore; on peut former des couches 3, 4 ayant des pores de tailles différentes et appliquer une pellicule hydrophobe à une des faces de l'électrode. L'invention s'applique en particulier à des piles à combustible à électrolytes acides.
