Abstract

a. Le procédé de l'invention est destiné à produire des tôles d'acier laminés à froid à structure en phase double possédant un faible indice de flexion, un allongement important et une résistance à la traction de 35 à 50 kg/mm** 2. b. On lamine à chaud et à froid un acier contenant en particulier 0,01 à 0,05 % C, moins de 0,2 % Si, 1,7 à 2,5 % Mn, 0,01 à 0,10 % Al, maintient cet acier entre 730 et 850 degrés C pendant 20 secondes à 30 minutes, et le refroidit dans des conditions bien déterminées. c. On obtient par ce procédé une tôle d'acier à haute résistance générale et résistant bien aux chocs, facile à façonner, convenant bien pour les carrosseries de voitures automobiles.
