Abstract
L'invention décrit un convertisseur d'énergie thermique comprenant au moins un élément (fil) sensible à la température et réalisé en un matériau présentant de la mémoire de sa forme par suite d'une transformation thermoélastique en phase martensitique. Le dispositif comprend, en plus du ou des fils, un organe pouvant mécaniquement réagir avec l'élément afin de lui appliquer un effort destiné à le déformer durant une première phase et à répondre à son retour à l'état non déformé durant une seconde phase, et un limiteur d'efforts pour limiter la déformation de élément durant la seconde phase. La déformation de l'élément peut ainsi être supérieure, durant la première phase, à celle observée durant la seconde phase. Application : récupération d'énergie thermique et/ou mécanique.
