Abstract

The packing container has a base trayh with a ledge and four vertical corner pieces (19). The corners are bridged by two diagonal inserts, each insert having reinforced vertical sides and end pieces which are supported by the corner pieces. The ends of the boats are shaped to accommodate the shape of the equipment being packed and are made have multiple thickness by folding the card maerial over. The carton may also be covered by shanks plastic film to complete the packing.
