Abstract

Le tube, par exemple tube d'image de télévision, comporte une enveloppe munie d'une plaque avant en verre plane, qui est reliée hermetiquement par compression à un asque d'une partie conique métallique à l'aide d'un matériau déformable par compression, par exemple du cuivre, de l'argent ou de l'or ou un matériau, dont le point de fusion est supérieur à 300 degrés C. Le matériau est maintenu sous pression à l'aide d'au moins deux pièces de bande s'étendant suivant la périphérie du flasque et de la plaque avant et présentant une section transversale pratiquement en U, dont les deux bras enserrent ladite plaque avant et le flasque du fait qu'un premier bras s'étend suivant la surface extérieure de ladite plaque avant, alors que le second s'écarte du premier et s'applique contre le flasque. Les pièces de bande sont fortement enserrées par un collier métallique. Application : Tube image de télévision.
