L'invention concerne un groupe de pompage centrifuge haute pression à deux étages. Le groupe est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, dans un corps de pompe 4 en une ou plusieurs parties, un rotor d'aspiration 1 entouré par un rotor haute pression 2, lui-même entouré par un dispositif directeur 3 monté dans une position fixe dans le corps de pompe 4, les deux rotors 1, 2 étant entraînés indépendamment l'un de l'autre à vitesse constante ou variable. Application aux installations de pompage à grande hauteur de refoulement.
