Abstract

L'invention est relative à un procédé de fabrication de tiges-poussoirs de soupape pour moteurs à combustion interne. Selon l'invention, toute la tige-poussoir de soupape est formée en déversant deux couches de poudre métallique de composition différente dans un moule unique, en comprimant et en frittant ensuite conjointement les deux couches de poudre métallique, qu'on utilise à cet effet, pour la couche anti-usure, un mélange exempt de carbone de fer non-allié et de molybdène non-allié et pour le reste du corps de la tige-poussoir du fer faiblement allié et, que le frittage a lieu à une température pouvant atteindre jusqu'à 1 350 degrés C et que la couche anti-usure est après frittage éventuellement carburée ou trempée par refroidissement brusque et revenu. L'invention permet de multiplier par trois au moins la durée de vie d'une tige de poussoir de soupape par rapport à celles en fonte.
