Abstract

L'invention concerne un outillage et un procédé pour la fabrication de matériaux composites renforcés de fibres de carbone et/ou graphite et densifiés par dépôt en phase vapeur de matière pyrolytique. Au cours de la densification, on provoque, par compression sélective des fibres, la formation d'un gradient de taux de fibres prédéterminé. L'outillage comprend deux plateaux 1, 2 en graphite et des éléments de fixation 3, 4 des deux plateaux pour maintenir ceux-ci à une distance prédéterminée l'un par rapport à l'autre. Les faces internes des plateaux présentent un profil prédéterminé, avec par exemple une partie renflée 12, 2, pour définir un espacement entre plateaux de hauteur variable
