Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé permettant l'assemblage précis de lasers semi-conducteurs et de fibres optiques. Ce procédé consiste en partant de substrat de silicium mono-cristallin orienté suivant le plan 100 à creuser des sillons orientés suivant les axes 110 dans ce substrat Sur celui-ci est alors déposé par électrolyse une couche métallique. Après dissolution du silicium on a obtenu un socle de cuivre reproduisant en négatif la surface du silicium. On soude alors le << laser >> sur une face plane et on positionne la fibre dans un sillon. L'invention s'applique aux télécommunications par fibres optiques.
