Abstract

A cheese draining tub is fitted into a container leaving a space between the sides and the bottom, the vol. of which is equal to the amt. of liquid wich will drain from the cheese. The tub and the container are then placed inside a sack of plastics material impermeable to the liquid and the neck of the sack is closed by a self-adhering tape. No force is exerted on the sensitive neck of the tub and the cheese is kept white and fresh without drying out.
