Abstract

The box or basket-like pack(4) has portions(1) extending above the upper rim(3) and a foil(2) covering the contents. The foil is provided with openings placed to fit over the portions(1) such that it can be stretched over the pack and around these portions. The outward corners of the portions(1) may be rounded(5), and the openings in the foil may be spaced at a distance equal to or shorter than those between the portions. The corners(5) of the portions may have recesses(9) at the level of the rim(3) to receive the edges of foil openings.
