Abstract

Procédé et un dispositif pour la compression de la dynamique des signaux retrodiffusés réceptionnés, plus particulièrement des signaux Lidar diffusés dans l'atmosphère et rétrodiffusés. La surface de réception effective du détecteur est choisie de telle manière en fonction de la distance focale de l'optique de réception et du diamètre du faisceau émis que le diametre de la surface de réception du détecteur corresponde sensiblement à la formule : dk = D. f/R où R est la portée de compression désirée, c'est-à-dire la zone proche du récepteur dans laquelle la dynamique du signal rétrodiffusé doit être comprimé, D, le diamètre du faisceau émis à la distance R et f, la distance focale de l'optique de réception. Applications pour la compression géométrique de la dynamique des signaux rétrodiffusés pour détection par écho (Lidar, Radar, Sonar).
