Abstract

The calorifier pref. uses an electric immersion heater controlled by a thermostat. The calorifier has an inlet and an outlet leading to the inlet of a pump. The installation is used in the prodn. of wine, partic. to warm up must in a fermenting vessel when the ambient temp. is too low for satisfactory fermentation. It can serve also for spraying must back onto the head of the vessel.
