Abstract

Panes of glass are assembled at right angles to each other using a main frame member (3) of rectangular cross-section. Two auxiliary sections (9) have tongues which fit into grooves in the main section (3). These auxiliary sections have faces slopping at 45 deg. and support the panes (1, 2) at right angles to each other. The panes are retained by clips (5) which are secured by screws (6) which engage a thread in a boss (3g) in the main section. By using different types of auxiliary sections the angle (2a) between the panes can be changed as required.
