Abstract

Ce moteur à combustion interne comporte au moins un piston présentant en section transversale une forme oblongue et qui est monté coulissant dans un cylindre de forme correspondante. Le piston et le cylindre, considérés en section transversale, comportent chacun deux extrémités espacées, reliées par des parties latérales rectilignes ou incurvées. Plusieurs soupapes d'admission sont disposées en ligne droite parallèlement à un plan contenant la plus grande dimension du cylindre en section et d'un côté de ce plan, et un nombre égal de soupapes d'échappement sont également dispos en ligne droite parallèlement à ce même plan et de l'autre côté de celui-ci. Deux bougies d'allumage sont prévues dans chaque cylindre.
