Abstract

Lingotière pour coulée continue à refroidissement comportant un dispositif pour engendrer un champ de forces électromagnétique rotatif. Pour augmenter le temps de vie de la lingotière et améliorer l'action exercée sur la solidification du métal en fusion à proximité du niveau de la lingotière, celle-ci est un corps composite avec une paroi supérieure 3 en cuivre ou alliage de cuivre faiblement allié, et une paroi inférieure 4, en matériau antimagnétique à faible conductibilité électrique, entourée par un dispositif d'induction 9 pour le champ tournant électromagnétique. Application générale aux lingotières du type défini au premier paragraphe.
