Abstract

An agent for the treatment of greening of citrus fruit contains a penicillin of formula (I) (where R is H, amino or carboxyl). (I) may be applied as an aqueous soln. or as a slow release formulation to the root system of the fruit tree. It may also be applied as an aq. soln. by injection into the tree trunk. The compsns. may contain a synergistic agent such as streptomycin.
