Abstract

The reversible plough has a beam (1) to which the shares (21, 22) are connected. The beam is connected to the frame (16) via upper and lower pairs of pivotal links (5, 9 6, 10). Links (5, 6) are pivoted to bracket (2) on the beam at (3, 4). Links (9, 10) are pivoted to bracket (15) on frame (16). An hydraulic jack (17) acts between bracket (15) and the short arms of links (5, 6). Adjustable stops (11, 12) are arranged between the pairs of links. Each pair of links remains of fixed length under a tension load and is of variable length under a compression load.
