Abstract

Dispositif gyroscopique à suspension double permettant un déplacement angulaire relativement grand autour de l'axe sensible tout en le maintenant dans un plan de référence. Dispositif comprenant un gyro à un ou deux degrés de liberte définissant l'axe sensible du dispositif; une suspension à très faible couple pour ce gyro permettant un déplacement angulaire limite autour de l'axe sensible; une suspension de Cardan pour l'armature du gyro permettant un déplacement angulaire relativement grand autour de l'axe sensible, cette suspension étant montée dans l'armature du dispositif; et deux boucles d'asservissement, l'une permettant de compenser les couples de frottement des paliers de la suspension de Cardan et l'autre permettant de maintenir l'axe de rotation propre du gyro dans un plan de référence. Dispositif applicable aux systèmes de navigation terrestre montes, notamment, sur des engins terrestres militaires.
