Abstract

Flat solar panelshave improved performance if they are maintained perpendicular to sun. This is effected by rotating the support about a vertical axis at constant speed. The solar panel (1) is mounted on a support (2) and is rotated at constant speed about an axis (Z, Z1) once in twenty four hours. The support has a base (2a) which rolls on circular track (3) on a horizontal frame (4). A casing (5) carries by the support contains an exchanger (6) connected to the panel. A fixed enclosure (7) has a shaft (8) passing through and on which a guide shaft (11) is mounted to pivot about a vertical axis. The guide shaft acts on arms (15b) to pivot the panel against action of the balancing jack (10).
