Abstract

The adjuster is for a vehicle safety belt with a shoulder strap, having a connector accommodating this strap. The connector is mounted in the vehicle so as to receive the strap with the latter extending downwards when in use. The connector can be adjustable as desired on the mounting, the latter comprising an oblong component with fixing devices extending upwards, either on the front of the seat backrest or near it, e.g. on an adjacent door pillar. There can be a right-angle bracket at each end of the oblong component for fixing to the anchor points on the vehicle.
