Abstract

The safety seat consists of a bucket shaped part which is inclined and which can be adjusted for length to receive the body of a child in a reclining position. The assembly rests on a car seat squab (9) with its upper part against the seat back (10). At the back of the bucket shaped part is a fixing for a wire hooke to another wire which goes under the seat back and to the rear of the seat to a tensioner (20). There can be one or more belts to secure the child to the bucket shaped part.
