Abstract

The safety belt is fitted to the folding rear seat of a vehicle and comprises a long strap having one end fixed to a side upright, its other end has a buckle to connect with a shorter strap. This shorter strap (3) has one end (4) fixed to the vehicle floor (5), near the back. The other end of the strap is equipped with the connector (6) for the buckle on the longer strap and this buckle connector is stored in a pocket provided in the upholstery (8) at the side of the folding seat back (2).
