Abstract

Eléments détecteurs de gaz combustibles, à base d'oxyde ferrique gamma et d'oxyde d'aluminium gamma. Ces éléments détecteurs 2 comprennent gamma -Fe2 O3 , gamma -Al 2 O3 et au moins un des éléments La, Ce, Pr et Nd; l'oxyde ferrique gamma est en quantité de 99,0 à 25 % en mole, l'oxyde d'aluminium gamma en quantité de 0,05 à 70 % en mole, et les autres élements exprimés sous forme de La2 O 3 , Ce2 O3 , Pr2 O3 et Nd2 O3 , sont, au total, en quantité de 0,05 à 15 % en mole. La présente invention est particulièrement utile pour fournir des éléments détecteurs de gaz combustibles, tels que l'isobutane, l'éthane, le propane et l'hydrogène, qui sont avantageux par suite de leur durée d'utilisation fortement stable sous une charge, même dans des conditions de température élevée et de forte humidité, et par suite de leur forte sensibilité vis-à-vis d'un gaz combustible.
