Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de craquage d'hydrocarbures lourds, dans lequel les hydrocarbures sont d'abord soumis à un pré-traitement d'hydrogénation en présence d'hydrogène et d'un catalyseur, pour être ensuite soumis à un traitement de craquage thermique. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'au moins une partie de l'hydrogène requis pour ledit traitement d'hydrogénation est obtenue par un traitement de réformage à la vapeur des hydrocarbures légers résultant du traitement de craquage. Elle se rapporte au traitement des hydrocarbures lourds, et notamment à leur craquage en vue de la production d'oléfines.
