Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de direction à crémaillère équipé, pour réduire le jeu entre le secteur denté et la crémaillère, d'une came ne venant en prise avec un doigt de pression monté sur ressorts dans le carter du mécanisme que lorsque le mécanisme de direction se trouve dans la position médiane correspondant à la marche rectiligne du véhicule. Le mécanisme selon l'invention est caractérisé par le fait que la came 29 est prévue de telle sorte sur la crémaillère (piston 16 du cylindre opérateur) montée pivotante dans le carter 7 du mécanisme de direction que le doigt de pression 31 de la crémaillère (piston 16 du cylindre opérateur) tende à effectuer un mouvement de rotation.
