Abstract
The cane is used for collecting balls used in a board game and has one end held in the hand and the other end curved. This latter end is hollow, its diameter being slightly larger than a ball. The hollow end is placed over a ball and pressed down. The ball enters, passing over a spring loaded catch which prevents it falling out. Several balls can be picked up and stored. They can be released by pushing a second catch, operating in a longitudinal slot, to eject the balls.
