Abstract

Ground working tools are mounted in pairs on tool carrying arms which rotate about parallel vertical axes. Adjacent arms are rotated in opposite directions. At all points of the circular path of any of the tool carrying arms, that arm cuts the line along which at least one other tool carrying extends. The positions of the tool carrying arms are stagered with respect to one another by an angle which is different for each arm relative to a reference arm.
