Abstract

L'invention concerne les fours électriques pour le traitement et le durcissement chimico-thermiques de produits à l'aide d'une décharge luminescente. Ce four comprend une chambre à décharge 1 reliée électriquement à une source 5 de courant continu et faisant office d'anode. A l'intérieur de la chambre 1 se trouve un dispositif de suspension 7 avec les produits à traiter 6, l'ensemble servant de cathode. Il est prévu en outre une électrode creuse 10 jouant le rôle d'anode supplémentaire. Applications : nitruration ionique, carbonitruration.
