Abstract

Mécanisme de direction assistée à crémaillère pour véhicules automobiles comprenant dans un carter, une crémaillère coulissante portant à ses extrémités les rotules des biellettes de braquage de roues, qui engrène avec un pignon relié à la colonne de direction et qui porte le piston d'un vérin d'assistance alimenté sous le contrôle d'une valve, caractérisé par le fait que ledit mécanisme possède deux modules assemblés dont l'un est constitué par le cylindre 1 du piston 19 d'un vérin d'assistance, emboîté sur le carter 2 formant l'autre module, et porteur des moyens d'immobilisation axiale 10, des raccords de canalisations 22, 23 et d'un palier 21 de guidage de la crémaillère,
