Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil électromagnétique de mesure d'écoulement de fluide. Il comporte un électro-aimant allongé, dont l'axe est perpendiculaire à la direction d'écoulement du fluide et dont une pièce polaire d'extrémité est voisine du fluide, mais en en étant isolée. Deux électrodes en contact avec le fluide sont disposées de chaque côté de l'électro-aimant et sont connectées à un circuit de détection. L'électro-aimant reçoit des impulsions symétriques et développe un champ magnétique pulsé. L'invention s'applique notamment à un appareil de mesure de vitesse de navire.
