Abstract

The four-way tap is for a single-tube central-heating radiator, its body having two radial pipes for fluid inlet and outlet and a bore communicating with one of them to pass a first current, while a second current can pass through the other pipe. When the valve is shut, both currents, normally forming a heating circuit through the radiator, are stopped. The tap has a radial auxiliary tube which can be shut by a plug to allow passage of the second current inside a tubular component. Alternatively the radial auxiliary tube can act as a passage for the current to the other tube or emerge from it when the tubular component is removed from the mounting and its internal opening is shut off.
