Abstract

The burner has a secondary air supply (18) which is fed into the furnace at the front. The furnace is made from two concentric cylinders (19) closed at one end and having an air passage (46) between them. Primary air (20) passes directly into the combustion chamber and some combustion air passes into the inner cylinder. The secondary air cools the cylinders before being discharged to the chimney.
